The existence of platforms dedicated to non-consensual AI content highlights the darker side of technological progress. Promoting digital safety requires a combination of robust legal frameworks, technological detection, and a collective commitment to online ethics. Understanding the risks—both to the victims and to the users of such platforms—is a vital step in fostering a safer and more respectful digital environment.

Strengthen laws to cover possession and consumption of deepfake pornography, not just creation and distribution. Increase international cooperation to pursue website operators who host content overseas. Invest in digital forensics capabilities and law enforcement training.

Authorities and experts around the world have varying stances on platforms like IDOFake. Some advocate for stricter regulations and monitoring of such platforms, while others suggest public awareness and education as key tools in mitigating the risks associated with their use.

In the vast and ever-evolving landscape of the internet, new platforms and websites emerge with surprising regularity. Some gain popularity and become household names, while others fade into obscurity. However, there are instances where a website or platform gains notoriety for reasons that are not necessarily aligned with its original intent. One such case is that of IDOFake and its associated link, idolfakeorg. Strengthen laws to cover possession and consumption of

Deepfakes, defined as AI-generated, realistic, but fake, media, have increased dramatically, with research showing significant year-over-year growth [2]. This technology presents major ethical and legal challenges, including the violation of personal privacy, the spread of misinformation, and the creation of harmful, non-consensual content [2, 3]. Industry efforts are focused on detection, with organizations like Facebook and Microsoft, among others, investing in research to mitigate these risks [2].

These deepfake crimes have been linked to the so-called —a reference to the infamous 2020 "Nth Room" case in which perpetrators blackmailed dozens of women and minors into producing sexually explicit content on Telegram. Investigators discovered a network of Telegram chatrooms dedicated exclusively to creating and distributing AI-generated explicit images of K-pop idols, often for the stated purpose of "humiliating and teaching a lesson" to the women involved.

  2. Hello. This guide is well written. Thanks for sharing.

I do want to ask about your choice of installation directories being created out of /home/oracle. Services, such as ORDS, will run out of the Oracle user’s directory. Do you think it would be more OFA compliant to install everything (APEX, ORDS) under something like /u01/app/oracle?
