Elvui Profile — Converter

Most UI artists do not paste 50,000-character strings into a forum post. Instead, they upload a .lua file or a .zip containing ElvUI.lua . You cannot copy-paste a file into the "Import Profile" box. A converter extracts the raw string from that file.

Many ElvUI profiles rely on external texture and font packages like AddonSkins or ElvUI_BenikUI . If the layout requires custom media that you do not have installed, the profile will revert to default settings for those elements. elvui profile converter

Ensure you have the correct version of ElvUI installed for this specific client. Open the ElvUI menu using /ec . Go to -> Import Profile . Most UI artists do not paste 50,000-character strings

If you are playing on progression servers (e.g., Wrath of the Lich King) but found the perfect layout on a modern retail database.

: UI profiles are highly dependent on screen resolution. If you convert a profile designed for a 1440p monitor to a 1080p monitor, elements will look bunched together. Go to /ec -> General and adjust the UI Scale slider to fix this.
