Manual - Ts1162 Installation

Includes an input for Request to Exit (RTE) control and an open collector output for controlling door relays or strikes.

This input allows a normally open (N/O) momentary switch, such as a push button, to be wired directly to the keypad. When pressed, it signals the controller to unlock a door. Connect the two wires from your RTE button to the designated RTE terminals on the keypad. ts1162 installation manual

If you can provide the (V8 or 10), I can give you more detailed programming steps. Includes an input for Request to Exit (RTE)

Hold the mounting bracket against the wall at the desired height. Connect the two wires from your RTE button

| Error Code | Likely Cause | Solution as per Manual | |------------|--------------|------------------------| | | Power supply polarity reversed or undervoltage | Check L/N or +/-. Measure voltage at terminals. | | E-12 | Sensor break or open circuit | Test sensor resistance; replace if infinite. | | E-23 | Input signal out of range (above 20 mA) | Check loop resistance; may be shorted to higher voltage. | | E-45 | EEPROM checksum error | Reset to factory defaults (manual section 7.4). Power cycle. | | -OL- | Overload on relay output | Reduce load current or add external contactor. |

Re-insert and tighten down the two bottom retaining screws to preserve the IP67 weather-sealed structural envelope. System Initialization and Commissioning
