Citect SCADA supports two different software licensing models:
Open the URLs on your computer web browser. If they do not load a page filled with text data, you need to find updated links from the community. HTTP Error Codes (e.g., 404 or 503) Cause: Server-side issues or incorrect URL strings.
The structure within the text file must strictly follow this syntax rule: Content-ID Type Name URL Key Use code with caution. ps3 pkgi txt file
Make sure your file is actually named config.txt , not config.txt.txt . Windows often hides file extensions. 2. Copying Files to the PS3 Open the URLs on your computer web browser

: This tells the app how to behave (e.g., sort order, default region). A basic entry looks like: url https://[database-url-here]/ Use code with caution. Copied to clipboard
To get PKGi working, you must place these text files in a specific directory on your PS3 internal hard drive. 1. File Preparation
The FLEXERA softkey solution stores license information on a FlexNet Enterprise License Server. The Citect SCADA client process will retrieve licenses from this server as required by the Citect SCADA system. To activate and administer licenses, you use the Floating License Manager (see Activate Licenses Using the Floating License Manager).
In both cases, Citect SCADA uses a Dynamic Point Count to determine if your system is operating within the limitations of your license agreement. This process tallies the number of I/O device addresses being used by the runtime system.
A point limit is allocated to each type of license included in your license agreement. These license types include:
A special OPC Server License is also available if you want to run a computer as a dedicated OPC server. For more information, contact Technical Support.
If required, you can specify how many points will be required by a particular computer (see Specify the Required Point Count for a Computer).
